Both copper and aluminum line reactors are rewound with copper windings. Unit is coated in new insulating varnish. Inductances of windings are verified after rewind. Line reactor is also hi-pot tested to verify insulation resistance of varnish. Upgrades: Aluminum line reactors are wound with copper windings which are more efficient. Our winding has a larger air gap between windings for better cooling and more copper in the windings to improve efficiencies.
