
Spares in Motion User Guide
Spares in Motion is your global wind turbine parts finder. Our multi-brand digital platform connects you to a comprehensive range of products and competitive sourcing solutions that will help maintain a robust supply chain and keep your turbines performing at its best. Access the platform, view detailed product information, and request quotes easily and safely.
Follow the steps below to learn how to use the platform:
1. Create your account
Click here to create your account and complete the registration form. Choose your account type: private or business. Once logged in, you will be able to access extended product information and request quotations.
2. Search for products
Browse the Spares in Motion product list use the search bar at the top of the page to look for items by product group, name, brand, or part number. Use the filters on the left to refine your results by product type, product group, wind turbine brand, or item condition. Click “More info” to open the product page and view detailed specifications.
3.Request a quote (RFQ)
When you find an item of interest, select “Ask a quote” or “Add to favorites”. In the RFQ page you can specify:
- - quantities
- - additional information
- - attachments
- - shipping instructions: organized by SIM or I will arrange the shipping
Check your RFQ summary under the “Details and Messages” tab.
4. Negociation & follow-up
When SIM answers your RFQ, you will receive a notification by email and in your RFQ shortcut in the website header.
Use the Message Center to exchange information during the quotation process.
